Factores que intervienen en la elección de contingencias compartidas de altruismo parcial ¿es suficiente la mera presencia física?

Resumen

Se condujo un estudio a fin de evaluar el papel de la exposición a diferentes tipos de arreglos contingenciales (individual, colectivo y compartido) en el establecimiento y la cualidad de los intercambios verbales dados entre los participantes, así como el papel de la mera presencia física sobre la elección de contingencias compartidas de altruismo parcial. Se empleó una tarea de armado de rompecabezas virtuales en una situación diádica como procedimiento. 60 estudiantes de posgrado fueron distribuidos al azar en 30 díadas. Los participantes fueron ubicados en una misma sala o en salas experimentales distintas con y sin la posibilidad de establecer intercambios verbales. Tales condiciones permitieron contrastar el efecto bajo diferentes arreglos contingenciales de la mera presencia física de los participantes respecto del establecimiento de intercambios verbales entre los mismos sobre la elección de contingencias compartidas. En general, se encontró que el tipo de contingencia a la que los participantes fueron expuestos se relacionó con una cualidad predominante de los intercambios verbales establecidos, y que la elección de contingencias compartidas de altruismo parcial se relacionó, a su vez, con una cualidad de intercambios verbales en particular (estratégica) y no con la mera presencia física de los participantes en coparticipación.
