La democracia y el imperio de la ley en América Latina

Resumen

Anglade se introduce en el debate entre democracia de procedimientos y democracia sustantiva, sosteniendo que, en última instancia, la democracia no se limita a los primeros sino que se constituye con contenidos (derechos) civiles, políticos y socioeconómicos; obligaciones y responsabilidad política. A partir de estos argumentos realiza una revisión del estado de la democracia en América Latina apuntando los logros y limitaciones de los diferentes países en la construcción de regímenes democráticos.
