LA HISTORICIDAD DE LAS IDEAS FEMINISTAS EN
AMÉRICA LATINA

La escritora italiana Francesca Gargallo hace en este ensayo un
repaso de la historia del pensamiento feminista latinoamericano
partiendo de dos reflexiones: 1) que la existencia de ideas feministas
en América Latina es más antigua que su acción en la historia; y 2)
que su origen histórico no está ligado a un proceso filosófico
externo, sino a la reflexión sobre la propia alteridad con respecto al
mundo de los hombres y con respecto al mundo colonial. Esta
reflexión, según la autora, aporta una visión global de la diferencia a
la historia y a la filosofía latinoamericanas.

AUTHENTICITY OF FEMINIST IDEAS IN LATIN AMERICA

The Italian writer Francesca Gargallo reviews in this essay the
history of Latin American feminism thought, starting from two
reflective positions: 1) that the existence of feminist ideas in Latin
America is older than its action in history; and 2) that their
historical origin is not attached to an external philosophical
process, but is rather attached to thinking about their own options
with respect to the world of men and the colonial world. This
thinking, according to the author, contributes a global vision of the
difference between these positions as related to history and Latin
American philosophy.
