Construcción y deconstrucción de identidades nacionales en transición tras la disolución de la Unión Soviética: de la Moldavia soviética a la Moldova independiente (1989-1994)

Resumen

El presente artículo analiza un modelo excepcional de construcción y deconstrucción de identidades étnicas durante el periodo previo a la disolución de la Unión Soviética y en el contexto de creación de la República independiente de Moldova. Partiendo del análisis conceptual aplicado por la doctrina soviética a los distintos grupos étnico-nacionales, minorías étnicas, nacionalidad y ciudadanía, y la complejidad de la integración del fenómeno nacionalista en el modelo federal, abordamos su dinámica histórica de pertenencia a imperios, la integración a la Unión Soviética a través de la escindida Besarabia y su artificial creación republicana que dotó a la identidad moldava de una estructura territorial y federal. El nacionalismo irredentista prorrumano a finales de la década de 1980 y la posterior independencia de Moldavia, desató un proceso de configuración de identidades étnicas alternativas (rumanismo y moldovanismo) y movimientos secesionistas (Gagauzia y Transnistria) que convirtieron a la república en un genuino laboratorio de ingeniería étnica al servicio de las élites políticas e intelectuales de las diferentes nacionalidades, en términos soviéticos, residentes en el territorio.

José Ángel López Jiménez,  miembro de la AEPDIRI. Profesor Colaborador Asistente con dedicación exclusiva en el Área de Derecho Internacional Público y Relaciones Internacionales del Departamento de Derecho Público en la Universidad Pontificia Comillas/ICADE, período 2013-actualidad. Imparto la asignatura de Derecho Internacional Público en diferentes titulaciones y grados y dobles grados, así como Organizaciones Internacionales e Instituciones de la UE, Instituciones y Políticas de la UE, Derecho Diplomático y Consular, Derecho de la UE, TFM´s y TFG´s.

En el período 1999-2010 impartí estas asignaturas y otras en la Universidad Carlos III -en el Departamento de Derecho Internacional Público-  de programas de diversas licenciaturas.
