Abstract

This article examines the mechanisms, forms and expression of the crisis through the framework of regulation theory; employing a historical perspective, it analyzes the characteristics of modes of regulation and regimes of accumulation. In the context of a long-term crisis, these theoretical considerations offer a valuable explanation of the present crisis.
