Currency as a relationship of power

Abstract
The issue of monetary hegemony and the parity of currencies is key to the analysis of finance and of power relations between states and economic and social sectors, because the hegemonic currency provides economic and political benefits to issuing States and financial agents operating with key currency and which, therefore, are in privileged position in the international financial market as recipients, lenders and administrators of capital.
