Abstract

There is still no escape in sight for the economic and financial crisis in Europe, and several recent episodes continue to confirm how far off the austerity policies imposed to resolve it are.

José Déniz, a professor at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, and the guest editor of this issue of www.olafinanciera.unam.mx, has proposed several dimensions and themes to address the financial and economic crisis experienced in Spain in recent years, from the perspective of one of the emerging political forces of that country.
