Abstract

Economic concentration at all levels has accelerated for three decades, and the crisis, which became the Great Recession, has sharpened it. This process has persistently atrophied the faltering national economies, which in the context of globalization have inoculated one another, preventing their local recovery, a situation that has been reinforced by persistent austerity policies imposed by governments, which have multiplied their difficulties and, above all, eliminated an alternative to get out of the conditions of stagnation and deterioration.
