Sylos Labini on Marx: implications for economic policy
Main Article Content
Abstract
This collaboration addresses some aspects proposed by Sylos Labini in his interpretation of the economy of Karl Marx, certainly controversial but necessary. For this, the broad theoretical discussion held around these issues by various scholars, who in one way or another have participated and influenced the debate, is considered. These reflections, important in themselves, become essential in reference to certain far-reaching implications of the implementation of public policy imposed in the past 25 years in the European Union, under the narrow criteria of the imposed fiscal and monetary policy. This economic policy has been replicated throughout the world since the eighties of the last century.
