Abstract
This paper exposes the impact of NAFTA on Mexican agriculture 23 years after its implementation, considering the development of its production, specialization, the degree of food dependence, public and private support that has been provided as well as the policies of integration necessary for the rescue of the field that should be taken into consideration for the next renegotiation of this commercial agreement.
