Post-Keynesian economics, an unknown heterodox thought?

Abstract

Post-Keynesian theory is one of the many heterodox schools of thought in economics. In its studies on growth and productivity, it has several similarities with French regulation theory, which in Quebec and outside France is mostly known in political science departments. In terms of price and firm theory, as well as labour market research, it draws heavily on the work of institutionalist economists, both in the United States (US) and in the United Kingdom. A brief history of the emergence of post-Keynesian theory is given. Then, the major features of post-Keynesian economics will be evoked
