Abstract

"An attitude which in literary theory and in Latin-American literature is vigorously and clearly expressed is one of destruction, understood as revision, comprehension and relocation of forms and traditions of writing, culture, politics'and critical thinking" the Mexican researcher Gustavo Ogarrio tells us in this essay, in which he shows the way in which some Latin-American writers have treated the problem of place: the place occupied by Latin-America in history and the place occupied by literature as a form of creation and critique of our societies.
