Edgar Morin and its demons

Abstract

Edgar Morin, one of the most original contemporary thinkers, creator of the complex thought and transdisciplinary perspective, sniper lurking into the philosophic, sociologic, economic, cultural models which surprised the definitive ending of the XX century. The Brazilian writer Floriano Martins describes in this article how his “insatiable passion” for literature revealed to the French intellectual the power of imagination, which he used to build the principles recognized as the most notable critical expressions of our time.
