Redescubrimiento de Cormocephalus impressus (Chilopoda: scolopendromorpha: Scolopendridae) para México

Abstract

The centipede Cormocephalus impressus Porat, 1876 is rediscovered 130 years after its first and only time cited from Mexico. The species was determined positively when revising two specimens collected in 1989 in the Chamela Biological Station, Jalisco, Mexico, and deposited in its collection (EBCH). A specific locality is also first time recorded for the country.
