The social responsibility of the Public Administration in Mexico. Short reflection on the National Development Plan

Abstract

This text mentions the importance of the theory of public administration for the fulfillment of social commitment to achieve social well-being. Likewise, the importance of public management is addressed to reflect on its social approach in planning and solving public problems through public policies. Considering the National Development Plan as a declaration of social commitment to achieve the common good, having a framework of social rights as a strategic planning route. Concluding with a general criticism of aspects of the current PND to show whether or not it is a true declaration of social commitment.
