Abstract

Dr. Estela Morales is Coordinator of Humanities at UNAM since 2007. For her, humanities and social sciences contribute to citizens’ better understanding of their rights and duties. Humanities and social sciences help also to discuss and solve social or political problems. Technology is very important, but it should be at people’s service. Many things can be done at the CCH, like the Program Jóvenes hacia la Investigación Humanities and social sciences must keep producing useful knowledge for society.
