TOWARDS A NEW CONCEPTUALIZATION OF CHEMISTRY

Abstract
When the meaning of Chemistry is mentioned to us, high school students do not find it meaningful, and the subject becomes mechanical and full of strange meanings. This writing is intended to give a better meaning to the definition to attract students and extrapolate what chemistry studies to a social and cultural reality of the human being. For the teacher, it is an invitation to reflect on their practice and the objectives we pursue as educators at this level.
