Aprender historia a través de la educación cívica. Un estudio de caso en la licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación en la UABC

Abstract
The undergraduate program in Communication Sciences at the Autonomous University of Baja California stresses that the student will be competent “to infer the problems of social reality inhabited”. To comply with it, for the period August-December 2014, two strategies for citizen activation in order to incorporate the students’ interest in public matters discussed at its closest proximity is incorporated: the council of Tijuana. The results of an assessment of these activities are presented and getting feedback from students about the impact they had on their formation.
