Polyphony of experiences on job (in)security: narratives of formal workers in Mexico City
Main Article Content
Abstract
- This study aims to examine the ways the formal workers of Mexico City experience labor (in)security and ponders the objective and subjective conditions it constitutes. It is based on the hypothesis that labor (in)security is a socio-historical phenomenon (spatially and temporally situated) which has become a structural characteristic that is not unique to any one sector of the labor market, although it affects the social life of workers in a differentiated way (meaning it is a heterogeneous, unequal process).
