Estudio de caso único sobre violencia conyugal

Abstract

In postmodern society couples live in a changing world, where interactions have become more symmetric, even in the subject of violence. Before these sociocultural changes the dynamics of marital problems have been transformed, even in its therapeutic approach. In this study is presented a case of a woman that goes to therapy for domestic violence, treated by means of the Brief Solution Focused Therapy, which provides therapeutic strategies, centered in finding solutions rather than the causes of the problems. This allows to modify favorably the dysfunctional interactions of the couple, even without the husband going to therapy.
