Abstract

In spite of the world-wide advances in the measurement and evaluation of products of the educative process, on university education there are still great deficiencies in the definition of the components and processes involved in the profit of satisfactory results. For this reason, it’s important to search for indicators, strategies and instruments that allow an opportune compilation of information for the decision making that could improves the educative process. On the present study a strategy for the evaluation of the impact of a clinical psychology's course in university students learning was developed. this of course was applied to 131 students and it was evaluated through two indicators: a) a multiple-choice questionnaire used as pre-test and pos-test, and b) a written essay. Results showed positive effects of the course; nevertheless, it is necessary to orient the work to the development of reliable and valid indicators for a more precise evaluation, such as to the design of strategies that allow the understanding of the role of diverse contextual variables in learning products and in the educational process.
