Empleo de material multimedia en la enseñanza de la psicología clínica

Abstract

Several studies suggest that the use of multimedia in the development of didactic materials favours motivation toward learning and student’s satisfaction. In this way, a didactic material developed with the use of multimedia was elaborated, including academic program contents and an electronic anthology for Clinical Psychology IV Course. The aim of this text is to describe the process carried out by a group of professors from the Faculty of Superior Studies Iztacala (UNAM) in order to incorporate new strategies that allow better teaching and learning practices. The issue arises from the interest to renew and update training materials in a clinical psychology course, making use of the new information and communication technologies.
