Perspectiva sistémica: Participación de las mujeres en las interacciones violentas con su pareja

Abstract

This essay is intended to explore the behavior with which women participate in the violent interactions with their couples, making an analysis from a systemic approach. A random sample was taken, with 50 women calling a psychological and legal counseling telephone line. Once the information was analyzed, it was concluded that violence is made by two, because of what each other makes, where women have an active participation during the violent incidents, by assuming a verbal behavior, same that acts both as trigger and feedback conducts, while on the other hand, men choose for non-verbal behavoirs, such as physical aggression.
