Resumen

One of the pioneers of behavior analysis, Israel Goldiamond, died on November 19, 1995 at his home in Chicago. He was 76. At the time of his death, he was Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Chicago. Prior to his retirement, he was also Director of the Behavior Analysis Research Laboratory and a member of the Department of Behavioral Sciences (Biopsychology) and the Committee on Human Nutrition and Nutritional Biology. Before his appointment at the University of Chicago in 1968, he held academic positions at Southern Illinois University and Arizona State University, and served as Director of the Institute of Behavior Research in Silver Springs, Maryland.
