Author Biography

Norma Pareja Sánchez, Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México

Doctor in political and social sciences with orientation in communication sciences at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (FCPyS-UNAM), Mexico City, Mexico; master in communication at the same institution and graduate in communication and journalism from the Facultad de Estudios Superiores (FES) Aragón at UNAM. She is a full-time professor-researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México (UACM) in the Academy of Communication and Culture, and a collaborative researcher at the Institute of Government Sciences and Strategic Development of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), in the academic body "Political communication, citizenship and transition to democracy." She was project leader in socio-political studies, public opinion and market research in the companies Grupo IDM and Gallup México, and coordinated national and international projects. Her lines of research are communication and political culture, political communication and public opinion, democracy and communication, communication and poverty, television fiction, audiences and public television.
