Reabsorción cementodentinaria externa: estudios radiográficos de un caso clínico

Abstract

A clinical case of external cementum-dentinal reabsorption in a 5-year-old female patient is presented. Radiographic, clinical and histopathologic studies were made. The first ones used both the parallel and the panoramic techniques. External cementum-dentinal resorption was analyzed according to its concept, etiology, physiopathology, classification and differential diagnosis. Finally, the most useful radiographic techniques for the study of this disorder were suggested.
