Islam in Latin America: from the twentieth to twenty

Abstract
This article looks into the issue of islam in Latin America. This religion had a small presence during the colonial period, but grew in the XX Century and went back to its original numbers later on. Today the population of Islamic people in Latin America has gone up again. This paper examines causes (migration and political involvement) and perspectives of Islam.
