Abstract

In this second issue of 2024, Latin American Studies continues the homenaje started in the previous issue to commemorate 50 years of production theory of the three main Brazilian founders of the Marxist Theory of Unit: Ruy Mauro Marini, Vânia Bambirra and Theotônio dos Santos. Recuperate his contributions to the critical thinking of capitalism dependent on our region implies valuing the importance of creating intermediate categories such as form of abstract critical thinking by including in the analysis the determinations essential elements of the Latin American economies and of each national reality in the different moments of our social formations.
