UN MODELO ESTOCÁSTICO DE EQUILIBRIO MACROECONÓMICO: ACUMULACIÓN DE CAPITAL, INFLACIÓN Y POLÍTICA FISCAL

Abstract
En este trabajo se desarrolla un modelo macroeconómico estocástico con un sector financiero. Todas las variables macroeconómicas fundamentales evolucionan de acuerdo a procesos que combinan un movimiento Browniano con saltos de Poisson. Específicamente, el movimiento Browniano modela las fluctuaciones que se observan todos los días y el proceso de Poisson modela los movimientos atípicos (auges o caídas) que ocasionalmente ocurren. El modelo propuesto incorpora la exposición de los agentes (consumidores, empresas y gobierno) a los distintos riesgos financieros que afectan sus procesos de toma de decisiones y considera de manera explícita el efecto de la incertidumbre fiscal y monetaria sobre el equilibrio. En el equilibrio se determinan endógenamente la tasa de inflación, la tasa de acumulación de capital, la tasa impositiva a la riqueza y los rendimientos de los activos disponibles en la economía.
